It’s such an interesting feeling when you’re sitting alone, listening to the clock tick, and suddenly there’s that moment of disconnect when you realize that you’re a human and there are about 7 billion other you’s out there, and you’re just as important as all of them. Then you walk upstairs, go to bed, and the next day you forget all that. You forget that about the other you’s and you’ve drifted back into the “one-sided-ness” of your own life. It’s sad, until you sit back down and listen to the clock tick again.
